With so many incidents happening globally we as providers of all levels need to prepare for the worse case scenarios. Anybody who wants to hurt an adult knows go after the kids. As responders we just do not get enough child and infant hands on to always feel comfortable with their care. When was the last time you walked through your child's school, as a parent or as a responder? Should agencies make it mandatory to conduct walk throughs every quarter or more to ensure responders are proficient. Should agencies and school board or teachers meet and discuss active shooter or mass traumatic events regularly? Be safe and be ready...
